Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect directly

Zax does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personally identifying information. There are no accounts and no sign-in.

Gameplay data — your daily rack, the words you have submitted, your progress count, your endless mode state — is stored locally on your device in iOS UserDefaults and is not transmitted to us or anywhere else.

2. Third-party services

Zax does not integrate with any third-party services. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, no tracking pixels, and no external APIs. The app does not connect to the network during normal use. It works fully offline.

Crash diagnostics may be reported through Apple's default operating-system mechanism, which you control via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

3. Children

Zax is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If a parent or guardian has questions, please reach out using the contact details in section 7.

4. Data retention

We retain no personal data ourselves. The local gameplay state stored on your device is deleted when you uninstall the app.

5. Your rights

Because we do not collect, store, or process any personal data, there is nothing for us to disclose, rectify, or delete under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulations. For questions about the data Apple itself collects when you download an app from the App Store, see Apple's privacy policy.

6. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page will reflect the change. Because the app collects nothing today, any future change would need to loosen that position explicitly — not the other way around.
